Travel, parking, and accommodations
The suggested hotel is the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, which is the hotel as the International Pole Convention is being held at. PoleCon has offered us use of their discounted room rates. It is a walk or short Uber (0.8 miles or 1.3 km) from the competition venue. Click here for the booking link.
Self parking is available at the GWCC with a standard daily rate of $10 per day. There may be increased to $15-$50 per day, depending on other events going on in the area such as athletic events. We recommend parking in the RED lot for easy access to Building A.
If you are attending the International Pole Convention, our event is about 15 minutes walking from the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Uber or Lyft is about $8 each way. Directions are here.
Air travelers can fly into the Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). There is a shuttle from the airport to the GWCC for $16.50 one way or $29 round trip using the Atlanta Airport Shuttle Service at http://www.taass.net/. There is also public transit called the MARTA which is available for $2.50 one way from the airport with more info available at http://www.itsmarta.com. Use the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station (W-1) stop for our building (A). Travel by taxi is affordable with flat rates between the airport and downtown ($30) and travel originating and ending within the downtown area ($8) for one person.
Advantage Rent-a-car offers a 10% discount on car rentals to anyone associated with PSO events! You can get this deal by using this link: http://www.advantage.com/?rc=CD04B2A594
